Meet Skylar

When I was 4 years old I was diagnosed with Leukemia. I beat stupid cancer and went into remission 1 year after diagnosis!

My Leukemia came back March 2020 and I’ve been in and out of the hospital all year, 2020 has been rough. 

Three weeks ago I was diagnosed with Mucormycosis in my brain and had to have emergency surgery. at least I got a popsicle at the end!

The Dr. was able to remove ⅛ of my brain without damaging anything, but the infection came back.

I was released on October 24th, 2020 on hospice to spend time with my family at home.

I was jealous my older sister Ryan got to go on a hike with my Nanny while I was in the hospital, maybe one day I’ll get to go on a hike again. 

I love nature, animals and all things outdoors.

I’m so excited to be at home with My Dad Jacob, My Mom Jessica and the rest of my amazing family.
